Imagination is an essential ingredient for happiness. My Grandmother used to say don’t dream your life away. But without dreams what are we chasing? Finding my creative flow was pure joy. My writing became an outlet where I could express myself. For me the journey started on a night many years ago, it was the summer of 1995, and I was finally going to be free. I was a young teenager and my siblings, and I were about to spend our summer without adult supervision. I had plans to everything we could do. But life had other ideas. July 18th, 1995, the volcano on my Island woke up. Spewing hot ash into the atmosphere. And all my dreams went up in flames. Fast forward almost thirty years later and I am proud to have published my debut novel.
